Dr. Chris Rothman & Dr. John Roberson
Christopher M. Rothman, D.D.S. is originally from Boston, MA. He graduated from Farragut High School in Knoxville, TN and attended the University of Alabama where he received his Bachelor of Science. Dr. Rothman obtained his doctorate at the University of Tennessee, Memphis, where he had the privilege of serving on the Curriculum Committee. He graduated with High Honors and received numerous awards. He has multiple board certifications. He is a Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon and has been Board Certified by the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He is a member of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, American College of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, Alabama Dental Association, Birmingham Dental Association, and the Alabama Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. Chris Rothman, DDS, is a co-founder of the Institute of Medical Emergency Preparedness. Dr. Rothman has lectured and written extensively on the subject of medical emergency preparedness and training. He co-developed the curriculum for Advanced Life Support for Dentistry (ALSD) and the Emergency Response System, which has been endorsed by both national and state organizations.
John B. Roberson, D.M.D. is from Hattiesburg, MS where graduated from Hattiesburg High School. He attended the University of Southern Mississippi where he received his Bachelor of Science. Dr. Roberson obtained his dental doctorate at the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry in Jackson, MS. He received numerous awards and honors including becoming President of the American Student Dental Association his third year. Dr. Roberson performed his residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at University Hospital at the University of Cincinnati. His training included anesthesia, dentoalveolar surgery, facial trauma, reconstructive surgery, cleft lip & palate surgery, pathology, advanced trauma life support, cardiology, and trauma surgery. He served as Chairman of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons Residents Organization as well as one of the founding members.
Dr. Roberson has dual board certifications. He is a Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon as well as Board Certified by the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He is a member of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, Southeastern Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, Mississippi Dental Association, South Mississippi Dental Association, and the Mississippi Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.
