Continuing Education credits

DentalEDU.TV is the industry’s only Full Screen High Definition Dental Educational website in which users can earn Continuing Education credits (LIVE and/or On-Demand courses).

You can earn your required Dental/ Hygiene credits and print your Certificate of Completion.

 1. Select a course from the "Available Courses" menu.  A short sample of the course video is available for you to review.

2. To purchase a course, you must be registered and Logged in.

3. Click the "Purchase now" button once you have made your course selection.

4. View all of your courses in the "Purchased Courses"  menu.

5. Every course has a "Course Progress Interface" that displays the number of Chapters, Test completed or not completed (with an automatic grading module), and Course Survey.

   a. Chapters are highlighted in RED when not completed.  Below the Chapter number, the percentage of chapters viewed is indicated.  Once the user views 90% of that given chapter, the Chapter color will turn GREEN.  The user does NOT have to watch all of the chapters in a single session.  ALL CHAPTERS MUST BE VIEWED AND BE GREEN PRIOR TO PRINTING YOUR CERTIFICATE.

   b. Tests are graded automatically once you press "Submit" (located below the last test question).  You can "Save" the answers to an unfinished test.  Some of our courses are up to 7.5 hours in length.  IF YOU DO NOT PRESS "SAVE" OR "SUBMIT", YOUR ANSWERS WILL NOT BE RECORDED WHEN YOU RETURN TO FINISH YOUR COURSE.  A passing grade of 75% is required prior to printing your Certificate of Completion.

  c. You must complete a Survey prior to printing your Certificate of Completion.

  d. ALL COMPONENTS OF THE "COURSE PROGRESS INTERFACE" MUST BE GREEN TO BE ABLE TO PRINT YOUR "CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETIONS".

6. Once you have completed all of the necessary components, you will be allowed to "Print Your Certificate of Completion".  This active link is located under the Course Progress Interface and can be accessed in the Purchased Course page or below the video player upon immediate completion of the program.

7. Some courses have PDF attachments that can be printed prior to, during, or after watching the video.

8. All courses allow you to take notes through the duration of the course.  On the actual video player, click "Show Menu". In that menu, click the "Course Notes".  Any entries can be printed as a PDF image.

9. Dont forget, use the "Ask Instructor a Question" button (located in the same menu accessed through the lower left part of the video player).  Your question will be sent via Email to the instruction for on-Demand events.  For Live events, a moderator will select questions to ask the instructor which could allow for an immediate answer.

****Please check with your State Board of Dentistry or Hygiene to verify that the purchased course content qualifies towards CE credits.  Some States have limits to the amount of ONLINE courses that can count towards re-licensure.

****Courses that qualify for AGD PACE credits will not be commercial advertising for any specific products.  Production Demonstrations do not qualify for Dental CE to be awarded but may still have a Course Fee associated. 

****DentalEdu.TV does not verify that the content of their speakers are accurate.  When necessary, DentalEdu.TV removes/ edit content that it deems illegal in regards to copyright laws.  DentalEdu.TV cannot verify all copyright infringements and relies on their Content Provider to disclose that all use of material was authorized or approved for use.

****DentalEdu.TV can not provide enough information or training with their Online Video programs to create an expert. A  Clinician will be provided only basic knowledge to encourage further learning.
